Reports To  Job Purpose 

Perform two to three Class II jobs in the production area and general duties throughout the facility as  needed. 

Responsibilities 

Production Functions 

Performs two to three Class II jobs in the production area. Assist with production duties based on work  volume. Ensures daily productivity and quality goals are met. See the job descriptions of the jobs  performed for a complete list of responsibilities and requirements. 

Safety, Health and Environment 

Operates in accordance with policies and rules. Maintain a clean working environment free of safety  hazards and operates in accordance with all policies and procedures. 

Productivity and Quality 

Consistently meet or exceed the departmental productivity and quality requirements. Housekeeping 

Perform daily housekeeping duties to keep work area clean. Complete necessary housekeeping on  equipment in assigned areas. Place all supplies and equipment in their designated areas. Ensure no  personal items are left in the workstations. 

Maintenance 

Communicate any equipment problems to Maintenance immediately. Perform daily preventative  maintenance on machines. 

All Other Duties 

Perform all other duties as assigned, including carrying out responsibilities, performing duties, using skills  and working in conditions necessary to perform all assigned tasks.

Production Quality 

Works under supervision at an elementary level to ensure that all production operations generate high quality results. 

Health and Safety 

Applies safety concepts under supervision to manage and apply safe systems of work. Verbal Communication 

Uses clear and effective basic verbal communication skills under supervision to express ideas, request  actions and formulate plans or policies. 

Production Development 

Works without supervision and provides technical guidance when required on developing products using  appropriate methods, tools, processes and software. 

Education

General Education 

High School Diploma or GED preferred. 

Experience 

General Experience 

Production and teamwork environment preferred. 

Managerial Experience 

None
